Vibescript is nine release candidates into the road to 1.0. Every one of them was supposed to be the last. It is genuinely close now: what remains is a final round of performance work and bug triage before I call it done.
I started a new side project called Ressik, a terminal-native backup program written in Go. It makes encrypted, deduplicated snapshots locally, with cloud destinations planned. It is still barely working, so keep your real backups somewhere else for now.
Vibe coding is growing fast. People who have never deployed anything are shipping software, and the software lifecycle has sharp edges they should never have to touch: deploys, upgrades, backups, secrets, expiring domains. I think the answer is mini-clouds, small managed worlds that carry all of that for non-technical creators.
